A Letter to Parents and Family
College is a big step for your kid. Please take a minute to read a letter from our director, Ben Braly.
Dear Parents and Family,
Thanks for dropping by and checking us out for your student. I wanted to write you a short note about who we are, why we exist, and what is the benefit of your student being connected to JAX BCM.
Who We Are And Why We Exist?
We are a Baptist Collegiate Ministry. This is a Registered Student Organization (RSO) recognized by the University. We exist to reach college students by helping to develop them in their faith and a place to find community. We also desire to help them get connected to a local church as well. We believe that college is a special time in a student’s life that prepares them for their future, and we love coming alongside students to help them navigate these fundamental years.
What Is The Benefit of JAX BCM?
Being a part of our registered club helps students:
1. Find Friends
We meet weekly during the school calendar with Gathering Services, Community Group and much more.
2. Grow in Faith
We provide discipleship opportunities between students and staff to help them grow in their faith.
3. Have Fun Events to Enjoy
We have different events from volleyball, dodgeball, camping, retreats, and just hanging out.
4. Experience New Things
We have mission trips across the state and out of the country for them to experience.
Lastly, thank you for entrusting your college student to us during this season of life. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.
In Christ,
Ben Braly
